The troublesome Comstock Act of the 19th century made it illegal to not only mail so-called obscene, lewd, lascivious, immoral, or indecent publications but also made it a misdemeanor to sell, give away, or even possess obscene books, pamphlets, pictures, drawings, or advertisements. To avoid the government's prying, prudish eyes, SYBARITE delivered issues by way of magic and even took to creating alternative covers, such as this one designed for the 1893 World’s Columbian Expo Issue.
